As part of the providing photos and video for the Pueblo Water job, I was charged with photographing the Pueblo Dam. It’s a very horizontal structure. In this clip shot in mid-December, I tried playing with that orientation in an effort to portray it in an unconventional manner.
The dam was completed in 1975 and is a key component of the Fryingpan-Arkansas project providing water to thousands of people in southeastern Colorado. When at capacity, the dam holds nearly 358,000-acre feet of water.
