Rafa: effortless athleticism

Rafa, one of our Australian shepherds, can play fetch endlessly. It doesn’t matter the weather or time of day, either.

I, on the other hand, cannot. I’m good for about 30 minutes and that’s only in the cool of a summer’s evening, before the mosquitos get too thick.

But I never tire of watching him track, leap at, and snare a ball mid-air. He’d have made a helluva outfielder or wide receiver.
