Soggy weather’s been the rule in southern Colorado lately and afternoon thunderstorms have made regular appearances the past couple of days. During a recent storm, I set up my phone to record some lightning from our porch.

The clip I thought worked best was a slow-motion sequence that turned a half-second lighting flash into a 10-second pulse of light.
