Well, my dwindling cache of Polaroid 669 pack film is coming up on 10 years past its expiration date. It’s holding up fairly well, given its age. I do wonder if some sort of exponential decline in the film’s performance will kick in at some point.
When I finally do use the last of the film, that’ll be that. There will be no more shooting pack film for me. Unless, of course, Fujifilm were to once again produce their FP-100C and/or FP-3000B film for a reasonable price. But from what I’ve been able to cull from the Internet, that’s not likely.
Beyond that, one of my pack film cameras–the Land 210, 330, 450, or 600SE–will eventually make its way to the shelf alongside my Nikon F3 and Minolta Autocord while the others will be hidden away and making photography, for me, a bit less magical.
