Yesterday FujiFilm announced its plans to discontinue its FP-3000B peel apart film. It’s a very popular item amongst the instant film crowd, delivering beautiful tones and performing wonderfully in low light at an affordable price, roughly 90 cents a photo.

But apparently it wasn’t popular enough for Fuji. The company cited “decreases in world-wide global demand” for their decision to stop the manufacture of the film. The company did say their instant color film, FP-100C would remain in production.
Last night, I ordered five packs of the film from Amazon. Demand had already driven up the price for 10 exposures by nearly two dollars.
But I didn’t go as far as this guy. If I had, Monica would have flipped:
I feel like I'm preparing for an apocalypse. Ordered 80 packs of FP-3000B film. Thanks @FujifilmUS (for causing this)…
