Halfway through February, it’s been snowier than usual in Pueblo. According to the National Weather Service, nine inches of snow has fallen, compared to the 2.1 inches that’s normally dusted Pueblo 14 days into the month. It’s been quite a departure from January too, when only 0.2-inches of snowfall was recorded.
The manic winter weather is still on pace to exceed seasonal normals. The NWS says Pueblo has had nearly 30 inches of snow so far, 10 inches over normal for this time of year, and some 20 inches more snow than this time in 2019.
I put the drone up to survey the neighborhood after Tuesday’s storm and came up with an interesting picture of the intersection of Orman Ave. and Polk St. The birds-eye perspective and snow-altered landscape offered a fresh look on an otherwise everyday Pueblo scene.
